Kimberly "Kim" Richards (born September 19, 1964) is an American actress and former child actress.
CareerRichards was born in Mineola, New York, the daughter of Kenneth E. Richards (1917-1998) and Kathleen Dugan (1938—2002). The couple separated in 1972 and Kathleen later remarried. Richards' siblings are the actresses Kathy Richards (born 1959) and Kyle Richards (born 1969). Socialites Nicky and Paris Hilton are her nieces, daughters of her sister, Kathy.[1] Her career began as a child in the early 1970s.[2] From 1970—1971, Richards starred as Prudence Everett in the television series Nanny and the Professor, with costars Richard Long, Juliet Mills, Trent Lehman and David Doremus. She also starred in several Disney films, including Escape to Witch Mountain, No Deposit, No Return and Return from Witch Mountain. In 1976 Kim Starred as Dafney in Disney's Whiz Kid Capers The Whiz Kid And The Carnival Caper and The Whiz Kid And The Monster Of Strawberry Cove a 2 part TV Movie for The Wonderful World Of Disney. In 1977 Kim and her Sister Kyle both played roles on the same picture as the two daughters of James Brolin in The Car, In 1978, she also teamed up once again with Witch Mountain co-star Ike Eissinmann for the made-for-television movie Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell.[3] In the John Carpenter film Assault on Precinct 13, she played a child who was murdered. She later starred in the short-lived series Hello, Larry and appeared as a guest on numerous episodes of popular American television shows including Diff'rent Strokes, Alice, The Love Boat, Little House on the Prairie, CHiPs, Magnum, P.I., The Dukes of Hazzard and The Rockford Files. While in her young adulthood, Richards appeared in the films Meatballs Part II, Tuff Turf and Escape. In addition, she also co-produced Escape along with then-husband G. Monty Brinson.[4] After 1990, Richards went into semi-retirement. Return to actingIn Race to Witch Mountain, Richards and Eissinmann made cameo appearances, playing a waitress and a sheriff respectively.[5] Richards also made a brief appearance in the film Black Snake Moan.[2] Personal lifeRichards has been married twice. Her first marriage was to G. Monty Brinson, with whom she had one daughter, Brooke Ashley, born on February 21, 1986. Richards was then married to Gregory Davis, with whom she had two children, Whitney and Chad. Both marriages ended in divorce. Richards also has a daughter, Kimberly, with former boyfriend John Jackson. 2009: Kim is now dating an entrepreneur from the coast of Maine, Todd Jason Voisine. Mr. Voisine has also helped support and fund numerous events for Kim's up coming "Comeback Career"! She stated, "I fell in love with Todd from the moment I first saw him...and Todd feels the same, he's my rock and I his".
